Questions, bugs and ideas
To learn how Diffractor works, see the documentation.
For bugs, feature requests, or discussion, use the GitHub issue tracker. This is the best place to get help.
Crashes and updates
If the Windows installer edition crashes, it sends a diagnostic report when its crash diagnostics option is on. Crash reports for the current version are reviewed. When a fix is released, Diffractor offers to install it as long as “Check for updates by connecting to the internet” is on. Press F6 in Diffractor to view these options, and see troubleshooting for what Diffractor does to recover from a crash.
The Microsoft Store edition does not have these options: the Store installs its updates, and Diffractor does not send crash reports from it. If it crashes, please report it on the issue tracker.
